A visit to the play centre!

On Friday we went to the play centre where Lucas had his first birthday with a friend! We had to go over to the bigger kids play equipment just before we left because a family came and invaded the small toddler section!!

Ok so this doesn't look like much because I missed the photo opportunity! This was in the bigger kids section. The little monkey is getting more confident and managed to get up to the red coloured step.

Its outside time!!

With the weather a little warmer today we went outside to have a look around the backyard. There isn't much out there but we are hoping that Daddy buys us one of those clams so we can play with some sand!!

These 2 photos were taken when Lucas worked out how to put the ball in so it would drop down on his little house. He then started to do it over and over again! Well done cheeky monkey! :)

Own tools!

Lucas now has some of his own tools to help Daddy in the bathroom. Early one morning he decided to go into the bathroom and see how they would all work! :)

Sunday lunch ...

Today Jacqui, Gary and Jack came over for lunch. We had a great time catching up and Lucas and Jack had a chance to play.

What a beautiful day ..

Yesterday we went to a forum meet. I have been talking to a bunch of girls for a while now and they all live in Sydney so we met at Bicentennial Park for a little play and some lunch.

It was great fun! The weather was beautiful and Lucas went off exploring the playground. Although he isn't walking he still managed to get around and loved watching all the kids running around. We can't wait till he gets up and can join them. Come on monkey, build that confidence up!!! hehe :)

Helping Daddy

Every chance Lucas gets he wants to go and help Daddy in the bathroom! He loves the tools and banging on the walls ... now I just have to teach him how to clean up after himself oh and Daddy too!! :)

Lucas is 14mths!

Lucas is now 14mths!! He is much better after being sick and has finally started eating properly again! It is such a relief.

This is what happens when we get into Daddy's soccer bag ....

And here is Lucas falling asleep this morning ... hmm opposite end of the cot, on top of the blanket and one leg in the air. How is that comfortable?? hehe

Our poor little boy ...

Our poor little boy has been sick. He woke up at 5am on Saturday morning vomiting and then he continued every half an hour, not even being able to keep water down. A trip to the doctors and he still wasn't getting any better so up to the hospital we went. Thankfully he soon stopped and they just kept us up there to observe him for a while. He was sick again once he went to bed last night but today he seems to be ok *touch wood*

One of the nurses gave Lucas this bear and it was made by a red cross volunteer. How cute is it! :)

Today Lucas seemed a lot better, but quite tired. Here he is doing a pen drawing.

We went to see the Wiggles today!!!

And they were great!!! We all had a great time and after working in child care for many years of course I knew all the songs!

Lucas had a great time and was bopping along to the music. I was kind of dreading going because I thought Lucas would be all unsettled but he loved it as did Hugh, Archie, Bailey and even little Max!!!
