Lucas attends his first birthday party

Yesterday we had a great time at Max's 1st birthday party! It was Lucas' first party and the first time he played pass the parcel! Lucas also had his first turn in a swing. He really wasn't too fussed about being in the swing, as he just sat there looking at everyone. Still I might look into a swing if I can find somewhere to hang it!

It really starts to make you think about when Lucas turns 1 and what we will be doing for him. As Michel said, it's not long now - only 4/1/2mths. So I said to Michel, good luck organising it then! :)

The monkey still didn't cope very well with all that noise when it was time for Max to have his cake. I sure hope he grows out of that before his 1st birthday, otherwise that will be very interesting, singing happy birthday to him while he cries. Today Mum, Christopher and Ewa came over to spend the day with us. We had a very yummy lunch and just enjoyed chilling out and playing with Lucas. Christopher just cant seem to get enough of Lucas, so we are sure he will miss him when he goes back to the UK on Friday. We hope he comes home for good sooner rather than later! :)

It's been a busy few weeks with all the relos here so hopefully it will calm down a little and I will be able to do a few more things around the house.

As each day goes by I get another day closer to having to think about going back to work. I don't like thinking about it because quite frankly I don't want to go back. There have been so many changes there lately that I just think I am not going to fit back in. The time will come though when I have to seriously think about what I want to do and what other options I have. I will think about it then. The thought of not spending days with my boy is a hard one. I guess for the last 8mths we have been together everyday, all day. The poor little bugger having to put up with me!! :) hehe
